ABOUT THE ENTREPRENEUR
My name is Brittany Cribbs and I am from Sulligent, Alabama. My idea started after a long, unpleasant 10-hour flight from Europe in 2016. The trip would have been amazing if the seats weren’t so hard and uncomfortable. I found myself twisting and turning the entire trip but could not find any relief. It was the most miserable flight I’d ever experienced, so when I got home, I started searching online for cushions that I could use on future trips. To my surprise, I couldn't find anything remotely close to what I was looking for. I researched for almost three weeks and realized that the type of cushion that I needed didn’t exist, so I invented it! I was unsure how to turn my idea into a real product, but I knew that if a bad flight experience affected me, there had to be other people who experienced the same thing. So, I did what many people would do, I googled it! One website led to another, and eventually my research helped me establish a plan to get my idea patented and my product prototyped.
